Project Overview
Yacht Electrical Services carried out a comprehensive electrical and control system upgrade aboard a 56-metre sailing yacht recently refitted in 2023. The project included modernising the navigation lights control panel using a PLC system, integrating feedback into the Alarm and Monitoring System (AMS), and designing new PLC-based control panels for various onboard operations — including the tender hatch, shell door, and lazarette access. Additionally, new ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) were installed to enhance system efficiency and control.
