Project Overview
Yacht Electrical Services completed a comprehensive electrical refit on a 50.58-metre sailing yacht. The work focused on upgrading the vessel’s power generation and control systems, with the aim of enhancing reliability, safety, and ease of use for the crew.

- Electrical connection and commissioning of newly installed generators.
- Megger insulation testing to verify system safety and performance.
- Installation of new generator battery chargers to ensure consistent and reliable start-up.
- Supply and installation HMI touch panel, configured for the new DEIF Power Management System (PMS):
- Real-time display of generator status, load balance, and breaker conditions.
- Intuitive interface for full control of the PMS.
- Design and integration of a simple mimic panel to provide:
- Visualisation of kW output per generator
- Breaker status indicators
- Manual pushbutton to request generator parallel mode
- Installation of IP-rated meters and anti-vandal pushbuttons, built for marine environments.
- All components mounted on a custom stainless steel panel, installed at the helm station for crew accessibility and visibility.
